Before You Go: Avision’s Jun Huang Discusses How BTA IGNITE Spreads the Word

The first of the three major 2026 Business Technology Association events, BTA IGNITE Orlando, touches down in the House of Mouse’s Florida backyard March 20-21. This long-anticipated event kicks off a year that sees the venerable association celebrating its 100th anniversary.

Among those companies that will be exhibiting there next weekend is Avision, and visitors can stop by and say hello to Jun Huang, general manager for the Taiwan-based manufacturer, which has an office in Fremont, California. Avision, long known for its top-flight scanner technology, seeks to elevate its profile as an A3/A4 manufacturer for the U.S. dealer community.

During the past few years, Huang has tested several other events—from PRINTING United to the Department of Information Resources (DIR) shows—to share the story behind Avision’s value proposition. But he feels BTA and its education-rich agenda that incorporates thought leadership addresses from manufacturers, dealers and technology mavens is the most compelling option.

“I’m excited about the show, and we hope some attendees will drop by to say hello and see what we have to offer,” Huang said. “We’re presenting new products, such as color MFPs, and we’re launching a low-cost A4 black-and-white machine. We’re always looking to sign on more resellers and dealers, and we hope to attract some companies interested in offering private label machines.”

Visitors to Disney’s Tacht Club Resort will have the opportunity to see Avision’s AM43A Plus MFP, a compact black-and-white unit driven by its AI processing technology; and the AM122 MFP, another B&W that features the company’s patented EzToner refillable toner cartridge.

On the scanner side, Avision offers the new Xerox FD80n, which combines A3 flatbed and ADF scanning capabilities with smart connectivity and bundled software to deliver a flexible, space-efficient solution for high-quality, high-volume document workflows. Also being showcased is the Xerox D70n scanner, which has 90 ppm output speed and a 15,000-sheet daily duty cycle.

“I’m really looking forward to going. We want to let people know that we’re not just a scanner company,” he added. “Drop by to say hello and see what we have to offer.”
