Difficult though it may be to believe, we are approaching the fourth quarter of calendar year 2026. While December may seem a ways off, it’s time to wrap up the nomination period for the 2026 Elite Dealers edition. The question is, have you filled out the form to be considered among the pantheon of America’s top office technology dealers? The deadline is Sept. 18, next Friday.

Each year, we dedicate our entire December issue to the dealer community. It’s really a yearbook; we feature snippets about the top 10 stories of the past 12 months, followed by an Elite Dealer preamble, and then launch into the directory—a who’s who of the dealer community. The listings for each company are populated with the information supplied in the nomination forms. From that, we produce dealer profiles that detail top hardware and software partners, leading growth areas and top accomplishments, in addition to revenue.
The listings are concluded by four bullet points that speak to the company’s Elite qualities: sales and marketing initiatives, top takedowns, awards and honors, and charitable activities, among other talking points. We alphabetize the listings by revenue range, accompanied by company logos and a photo. It is a singularly unique issue in the office dealer landscape and the perfect way to cap off the year.

Its value as a reference guide is undeniable. Users can research their competitors, find potential acquisition candidates, seek out ITT partners and find out how nearby dealers are flourishing. My own marked-up office copy usually loses its cover by June, simply due to overuse. As an old-school journalist, my affinity for paper publications will never die. But you can thumb through our digital edition or visit our website, if that’s your preference.
