Beginning this week, we have opened the nomination period for the industry’s finest to step up and be counted among your august brethren.

This issue is the only who’s who of the office technology dealership ecosystem. It’s an important snapshot of the industry’s impact players, chronicling the dealers who have set the benchmark for excellence in serving America’s office environments. For those of you unfamiliar with the Elite Dealers program, here’s what it offers:
- Information/data on each company. Top execs, their hardware/solutions vendors, annual revenue, fastest-growing business segments.
- The dealer’s biggest accomplishment of the past year.
- Bullet points that illustrate why we believe companies are Elite.
Each of the bullet points track company highlights from sales and marketing perspectives, in addition to innovative programs, technology enhancements, impactful takedowns, awards and accolades, and charitable endeavors that call for investments in time, money and efforts.
It’s a handy directory for dealers, OEMs, VARs, distributors and solution providers (among others) to do research into possible partnerships and various agreements that can help spur business. But it’s not a directory in the traditional sense—it’s filled with company logos and photos of top execs and their leadership teams that helps put a face to each company.

It’s not an oversell to say that inclusion among the Elite Dealers also brings with it a degree of cachet. Elite Dealers is a tight fraternity; there are an average of 2.5 honorees per mainland U.S. state. That’s exclusive company.
But for most, Elite Dealers needs no introduction, but it does require your participation to be considered for selection. Please take the 20-30 minutes needed to fill out the form and make sure you save a copy of the application on your computer. Saved forms are only good for 24 hours, so it might behoove you to drop your info into a Word document and then input it when ready. Again, the deadline for submissions is Sept. 18.
