Pulse Technology Named to 2023 Best Places to Work in Illinois List by The Daily Herald

Schaumburg, IL (April 27, 2023) — For the third year in a row, Pulse Technology, a technology company serving the IT, managed print services and other needs of businesses throughout the Midwest and beyond, has been named as one of the 2023 Best Places to Work in Illinois. The awards program, which began in 2006, is a survey and analysis managed by Workforce Research Group and conducted by media partner The Daily Herald.

Pulse Technology has been selected for this award in 2021, 2022 and 2023.

This statewide survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Illinois, benefiting the state’s economy, workforce and businesses. The 2023 Best Places to Work in Illinois list is comprised of companies in the small employer category (15-99 U.S. employees), medium employer category (100-499 U.S. employees), and companies in the large employer category (500 or more U.S. employees). Pulse Technology has been selected in the “medium” employer category.

To be considered for participation, companies had to meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Have at least 15 employees working in Illinois;
  • Be a for-profit or not-for-profit business or government entity;
  • Be a publicly or privately held business;
  • Have a facility in the state of Illinois; and
  • Be in business a minimum of one year.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Illinois. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.

Pulse Technology will be recognized and honored at the Best Places to Work in Illinois awards in-person luncheon, coordinated by The Daily Herald Suburban Business on May 11 at Abbington Banquets, Gwen Ellyn, Illinois. The final rankings will be announced at the event and posted on The Daily Herald Suburban Business website. It will be published in a special commemorative section on June 25 that will honor and identify the Best Places to Work in Illinois 2023.

An unranked list of all honorees was announced in the April 23 issue of The Daily Herald Suburban Business.

Chip Miceli, CEO of Pulse Technology, said, “We’re very pleased to have been chosen The Daily Herald and Workforce Group for this recognition. We’re especially gratified to have been chosen for three years in a row. We are grateful to our Pulse Technology team for their input and feedback on the survey to make this achievement possible. We work with a great team of professionals, and continue to add to our team by bringing on the best that the industry has to offer.”
