Epson Introduces New WorkForce Pro WF-C5000 Series with Next Generation Replaceable Ink Pack System Technology

Long Beach, CA (Feb. 13, 2018) — Epson America Inc., a leading provider of superior performing printing solutions, today announced the new WorkForce Pro WF-C5000 Series. Powered by PrecisionCore printing technology, the printers feature Epson’s innovative Replaceable Ink Pack System technology in a new compact form factor for a streamlined, efficient workstation. With print speeds of 24 ISO ppm (black/color) and a fast first page out with no warmup time, the WF-C5000 Series drives productivity. Businesses can save up to 45 percent on total printing costs vs. color laser, can print up to 5,000 ISO pages without changing the ink packs, and minimize user interventions with auto two-sided capabilities and large paper tray capacities up to 830 sheets with an optional second paper tray.

“Epson recognizes the needs of busy workgroups and continues to deliver innovative products to help drive productivity,” said Larry Trevarthen, director of business imaging, Epson America Inc. “By bringing some of the advanced technology featured in our WorkForce Enterprise Series MFPs to our WorkForce Pro A3/Tabloid class of printers, and now down to the desktop workgroup class of printers, we are extending our advanced technology features throughout our portfolio.”

With Epson’s Replaceable Ink Pack System technology, an intuitive user interface and nozzle verification technology previously introduced on the WorkForce Enterprise Series MFPs and the WorkForce Pro WF-C869R, the WF-C5000 Series is built for productivity. The series also provides advanced security features and is enabled for remote printer data collection. Through Epson Open Platform, Epson has expanded its support for ISVs such as Nuance Equitrac Office/Express, Nuance eCopy ShareScan, PaperCut, and nddPrint.

The WorkForce Pro WF-C5000 Series is now available through authorized BusinessFirstSM resellers.
