Elk Grove Village, IL, Feb. 9, 2015 – Des Plaines Office Equipment (www.dpoe.com), the Chicago area’s leading provider of managed print services, managed network services, and related technology, today announced the promotion of Michelle Sunny of Palatine, IL to the position of Marketing Coordinator.
In this role, she will oversee the growing firm’s website and e-mail marketing programs and event planning, as well as coordinating with the social media channels.
Ms. Sunny joined Des Plaines Office Equipment nearly two years ago and prior to her recent promotion worked in both the service department as well as inside sales and service. Prior to joining Des Plaines Office Equipment, she was a Coordinating Shipper for Wholesales Interior, located in Bensonville.
Her work at Des Plaines Office Equipment complements her outside interests in illustrating. As a freelancer, she has provided illustrations for authors of children’s books, one of which has already been published. She is a graduate of Westwood College in Du Page, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Animation. She also has experience in graphic design and previously worked for a website company helping with design and photo restoration used in their banners and websites.
The native of Australia has been in the United States for the past 13 years. She retains ties to her native land by working with the Australian Consulate in Chicago.
