Indianapolis, IN: Independent Stationers Announces Operation Health and Safety Program

Indianapolis, IN – September 8, 2014 — Independent Stationers, the industry’s most progressive independent dealer group and the leader in providing value-added programs and services to its members, announced today they have partnered with R3 Safety to launch a new safety production distribution service solution for its members. This new program, Operation Health and Safety, will give Independent Stationers members access to over 20,000 items they have not had ready access to in the past.

Through Clean Sweep Distribution, Independent Stationers members will be backed by R3’s proven selling tools and their expertise. These resources will help members position themselves for strong growth in this valuable category.

The Operation Health and Safety program will rollout to Independent Stationers members in multiple phases, with the first phase including members that will be testing and fine-tuning the program, and full rollout to the balance of members in Q1 2015.

Mike Foster, Director of Merchandising for Independent Stationers said, “I am xcited to introduce health and safety products to our membership. Our members will now be more competitive in the Health and Safety markets. Most importantly, this program gives IS members a unique advantage with marketing tools and access to products not made available in the past. There will be many more vendors brought into this program to support the market demand the dealers are being asked to service. This is a great win for dealers that want to do more than dabble in these categories.”
