Applied Innovation, a leading provider of imaging, technology, and automation solutions, is thrilled to announce the appointment of Casey Lowery as its new president, effective Oct. 1. This exciting development marks a pivotal chapter in the company’s history, as Casey, taking over from the outgoing president, his father John Lowery, who will now serve as CEO. In an embodiment of its values and commitment to the community, Applied Innovation remains proudly family-owned.

In his new role as president, Casey Lowery will lead Applied Innovation’s dedicated team towards a future filled with growth and success. Reporting directly to Casey will be the following key executives: John Konynenbelt, vice president of sales; Katie Wagner, vice president of operations; Dan Donnelly, vice president of service; Stephanie Holt, CFO; Ann Embree, chief people officer.

The transition is part of a strategic plan to continue Applied Innovation’s journey of operational excellence and expanding the company’s reach. In reflecting on this new chapter, Casey Lowery expresses, “We started planning this transition around eight years ago. One of our main goals was to ensure that Applied stayed locally owned and operated. I’m excited to step into this new role to continue the work that was started over 35 years ago. I will strive to continue the innovation and carry us through to the next generation.”

In line with the company’s strategic growth plans, Applied Innovation will undergo renovations to enhance the workspace and support its evolving needs. The third floor of the Grand Rapids headquarters is set to be remodeled to accommodate the marketing department and offices for other affiliated companies. Additionally, the first-floor will be revamped to include production print facilities, the technology department, and a fitness facility. These changes will provide a modern, collaborative, and dynamic environment for employees, aligning with Applied Innovation’s vision for the future.
