It’s time to turn off Netflix; you’ve seen everything of interest and there’s no point in reliving “Game of Thrones” or scanning for any episodes of “The Big Bang Theory” that you might have missed. You’ve printed out all the photos from your phone and arranged them by year in a photo album. You’ve organized the towels in the closet by color and size. The dog doesn’t need another bath—he’s had two this week already.
Yes, we all once wished we had the time to do all the things we wanted, and 2020 showed us what a terrible idea that was. So, before you decide to take up macramé, we have a wonderful idea for the use of 15 minutes that will not only be satisfying but lift the spirits of someone within the office equipment universe: Nominate an individual as a 2021 ENX Magazine Difference Maker.

This honor is not relegated to corner-office executives, VPs or managers. Yes, they are integral to the success of any organization, be it a dealer, manufacturer, supplier or any other link in the chain of our wonderful industry. But let’s also consider the less-heralded individuals, those who arrive early, remain after quitting time, and are willing to take on any task, large or small, as doing so helps serve the company and its clients.
This year, it’s more important than ever to recognize the lifeblood of the company. The last 10 months feel as if they have added 10 years to our lives, and not in a good way. And if you can spare 10-15 minutes to extol the virtues of someone who has relentlessly delivered in the clutch, day in and day out, that’s time well spent. Besides, you can check in on Sheldon Cooper anytime.
Deadline for submissions is March 12, 2021, so don’t delay!
The Difference Maker program has only a couple of restrictions: we cannot accept nominations for individuals who were honored the previous year (click here to see that list) and you may not nominate yourself.
Who can you put forward for consideration? The nominee could be someone within your organization or an individual from a partner company. As noted earlier, nominees may work for dealers, OEMs, suppliers, VARs or any other provider to the industry.
