Willingness to Help Where Needed Drives Pulse Technology Difference Maker Mildret Delgadillo

When a client forms an opinion about a dealership, it isn’t always just the sales rep or the solutions expert that leaves the greatest impression. Technicians and admin provide critical post-sale support, and their willingness to provide assistance (or lack thereof) will resonate with the customer long after the ink on the contract has dried out.

Being friendly and helpful are certainly customer service 101 fundamentals, but it’s surprising how frequently they’re forgotten or ignored. And that’s when the negative perception is formed. Cliché and trite though it may be, an organization is only as strong as its weakest link. At Pulse Technology, administrative manager Mildret Delgadillo is a shining example of the depth the Schaumburg, Illinois-based dealer boasts.

“I love learning new things as well as helping others learn,” said Delgadillo, a 2025 ENX Magazine Difference Maker. “I always want to help out in any way possible.”

A former bank teller, Delgadillo joined Pulse in late 2015 as an accounting administrator and was elevated to her current role at the end of 2018. She’s an administrative Swiss army knife, handling accounts receivable and leasing sales in addition to her regular duties. Delgadillo’s mastery of Pulse’s enterprise resource planning platform makes her an indispensable teammate.

The managerial promotion is one of her crowning achievements. It also showed Delgadillo just how much she is valued in the organization.

“When I was approached with the promotion a couple of years back, it was definitely a proud moment,” she said. “It made me realize I was making enough of a difference to have a team under me.”

One of Delgadillo’s most ardent fans is Pulse CEO Chip Miceli, and it’s not surprising that he’s had the greatest impact on her professionally. “He always has a positive attitude and is willing to share his knowledge,” she noted. “He wants everyone to learn and encourages people to give 110 percent.”

Moving forward, Delgadillo is keeping an eye on technologies that can help automate admin processes. “It’s important to find ways to apply new technology to assist in any scenario” she added.

These days, most of Delgadillo’s free time is focused on planning her wedding. It will be a destination ceremony in Cancun, one of the jewels within her beloved Mexico.
