Between the Lines: Another Year Ends, Another Begins, and We’re Looking for More Content

It’s been another interesting year in the document imaging industry and now it’s come to an end. If you haven’t read it already, you may want to check out my article on the top document imaging industry stories of the year in the December issue of ENX.

What can we expect from the industry in 2016? Probably more of the same; acquisitions, mergers, new product introductions, personnel changes, companies making deeper inroads into the channel, and a broader acceptance of solutions and services throughout the channel. Some may describe that as the same old, same old, but as is often the case, if you dig deeper, you’ll often find it’s anything but.

We intend to dig deeper throughout 2016 and encourage you to assist us in this digging. Let’s not be strangers. Your stories are important to us at ENX. Send us an e-mail if you think you’ve got a good story to tell whether it’s about your dealership, your people, or the products, solutions or services you provide to the channel.

Although we prefer creating much of the content ourselves, it’s a challenging task to do so, which is why we’re looking for additional content. We’re looking for submissions that are useful to our readers—dealers and resellers in the document imaging channel. We’re not looking for content unabashedly hyping a product, solution or service, but articles that will help readers be more successful doing what they do or articles that will educate them about a trend, a new product, solution or service, that isn’t obscured by superlatives touting the superiority of your organization or product offerings. Our readers are way too savvy for that. They’ll see right through that content.

Anyway, if you’ve got a story you’d like to share, drop us a line.

Thanks for reading and may you have a healthy, happy, and productive New Year.
