Between the Lines: What I Learned from This Month’s Difference Makers

And so with the five Difference Makers profiled in this week’s newsletter, we have reached the end of what has been an enjoyable and illuminating series.

Not to toot our own horn, but this was a terrific way to tout the individuals, well known and lesser known, that are making an impact on the document imaging industry. I was familiar with many of these individuals when I started the project, but was pleasantly surprised to receive recommendations for people who I hadn’t known before. I thank everyone who sent in recommendations.

The lesson I learned from reading the recommendations and writing the brief profiles that were published in the print version of ENX as well as the profiles appearing in the newsletter and on our Website is that the document imaging industry is alive and well and in the hands of some talented individuals who are doing their part to drive it forward. Plus not all of them are working in traditional roles within the industry.

Even though a few people recommended me I couldn’t in good conscience include myself. I may be part of the industry, and love what I do, and most of the time I think I do it well, I much prefer telling other’s stories.

I can’t wait to learn who I get to write about next year when we do this all over again.

Thanks for reading.
