Between the Lines: Another Take on MNS & IT Services

Scott Cullen, Publisher & Editor of The Week in Imaging

What’s the hottest thing in the imaging and office technology industries right now? Could it be IT services, managed network services? It could be depending on whom you’re speaking with. Not everybody is buying it though. This week I spoke with Tom Callinan of Strategy Development who has some strong opinions about managed network services, opinions that don’t necessarily coincide with the rest of the industry.

For all those who are tired of hearing about MPS, and believe me, I know there are a lot of you out there, I’ll bet within the next 12-18 months you’re going to be tired of hearing about managed network services and managed IT services no matter how essential they are to extending the life of the independent office dealer. Unless of course something totally different comes into play, and if and when something new emerges you can bet we’ll take that horse as well and beat it to with an inch of its life.

While you’re here don’t miss Art Post’s review of the Muratec MFX-2590. Sounds to me like he’s in love.
