Canon U.S.A. Announces Takaaki Tanaka as Chief Financial Officer

Melville, NY (Sept. 1, 2026) — Canon U.S.A. Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is proud to announce that Takaaki (Tad) Tanaka has been appointed to the position of senior vice president, finance and accounting and chief financial officer (CFO).

A 31-year Canon veteran, Tanaka brings extensive financial expertise gained across key global offices, including past leadership roles at Canon Virginia, Canon U.S.A., and Canon Europe. Most recently, he served as general Manager of Canon Inc.’s finance division, a position he held since 2023.
