BTA’s 2018 Gateway to Success Event to Be Held June 14-15 in Fort Worth, TX

Kansas City, MO (May 2, 2018) — The Business Technology Association’s (BTA’s) 2018 Gateway to Success event, hosted by BTA Mid-America, will be held June 14-15 at the Worthington Renaissance Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas. The hotel discount deadline is May 23, so register today to reserve your room.

Open to office technology dealers from across the country, the event will feature: a keynote addresses led by author, trainer, consultant, speaker, salesman and entrepreneur Steve Nudelberg; a featured educational session on how technology is reshaping the world; six additional educational sessions led by industry leaders; time to network with peers and exhibiting sponsors, including during a welcoming reception and breaks; and a Colorado Rockies versus Texas Rangers baseball game at Globe Life Field in Arlington, TX.

Gateway to Success will begin at 3 p.m. on Thursday, June 14, with welcoming comments followed by the keynote address, “Selling in the New Millennium,” presented by Nudelberg and sponsored by Static Control. A break, giving attendees time to visit with peers and exhibiting sponsors, will follow. Breaks between sessions on both days will also give attendees additional networking time.

The featured educational session, “How Technology is Reshaping the World: Opportunities & Challenges,” led by Dr. Tassu Shervani of Southern Methodist University and sponsored by Sharp, will be held from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception until 7:30 p.m.

The second day of Gateway to Success will begin at 7 a.m. on Friday, June 15, with breakfast, followed by opening comments and the first three educational sessions: “Dealing With Industry Transformation & Massive Market Disruption,” led by Keith Kmetz and Robert Palmer of IDC; “Four Key Ways to Build Profit & Business Value,” led by Jim Kahrs of Prosperity Plus Management Consulting Inc.; and “Incorporating Timeless Fundamentals With New Techniques for Sales Success,” led by Troy Harrison of Troy Harrison & Associates and Jesyca Hope of Hope Communications Consulting.

Lunch will be served at noon, followed by the final three educational sessions: “How Overcapacity is Changing the Office Technology Industry,” led by Charles Brewer of Actionable Intelligence; “The Power of Google AdWords,” led by Roger Jung and Marianna Murphy of Evolved Office; and “MPS 2.0: The Who, What, When, Where, Why & How of Monthly Billing,” led by Mart Hart of Access Control Devices Inc. (ACDI).

Closing comments and prize drawings will wrap up the event from 4:30 to 4:45 p.m. Dealers can also enter the BTA Events Sweepstakes during Gateway to Success.
