Konica Minolta Delivers Advanced Diagnostic Image Management

Ramsey, NJ (July 11, 2017) — Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. Inc. The advanced diagnostic imaging system offers Picture Archiving and Communications Systems (PACS), Radiology Information Systems (RIS) and billing under a single platform.

Konica Minolta now offers end-to-end solutions, including imaging, document and enterprise content management, managed IT, managed print, telehealth, security and interoperability solutions. By adding Exa to the company’s portfolio, Konica Minolta is building bridges between providers, patients and the care team across the continuum and enabling improved and connected care.

Konica Minolta’s Exa Platform offers a unique and unparalleled software solution to manage medical imaging and patient data across the health care spectrum. With advanced features like Server-Side Rendering, Zero Footprint viewer and a single integrated shared database across modules, Exa has a distinct ability to offer speed, security and increased access across products including PACS, RIS, EHR, specialty viewers, Billing and IT services.

“The addition of the Exa Platform and services offerings to our portfolio will allow our health care specialists to deliver a broad array high value solutions designed to support improved patient outcomes and provider efficiency,” said Kevin Kern, senior vice president, Business Intelligence Solutions and Product Planning, Konica Minolta. “Thousands of health care organizations rely on us for the security, efficiency, innovation, and quality that will bring our clients into the future of health care.”

“We are really excited to be working with the Konica Minolta team,” said Steve Deaton, president, Konica Minolta Healthcare Americas, HCIT. “Health care IT fits well into the portfolio because most medical facilities have recently decided to have their IT departments manage the radiology software. KMBS already has an excellent IT offering, and we supplement that well with a product that improves workflow and saves facilities money. It’s an amazing opportunity for two strong teams to work together and we’re really looking forward to the collaboration and fun ahead.”
