LMI Solutions Promotes Geishirt to Senior Director of Technical Services

Phoenix (May 31, 2017) — LMI Solutions, an award-winning provider of managed business services infrastructure (products, services, and solutions) for market leading resellers across North America is pleased to announce the promotion of well-known industry guru Steve Geishirt to Senior Director of Technical Services.

Geishirt is well known throughout the North American dealer community for his outstanding commitment and contribution to service excellence. With 28 years of industry experience including service leadership positions with Parts Now and now LMI Solutions, dealers continue to benefit from his in class training programs, field support for technical staff, printer repair videos, industry articles, and multiple service oriented projects for many of the industry’s largest MPS providers.

This assignment marks another recent expansion of LMI’s commitment to providing dealers with unparalleled support of their sales, operations, and service personnel.

As the senior director of technical services, Geishirt will be responsible for developing and supporting technical training and support services to help LMI dealers improve profitability and customer satisfaction by achieving the following:

Geishirt started with Parts Now in 1989 with a degree in electronics and quickly moved from repairing boards and rebuilding fusers to overseeing the repair department. His knowledge and ability to coach technical personnel on printer technology provided further advancement into dealer training where he was able to quickly make dealers grow their service capabilities and their margins at the same time.

As an extension of his commitment to dealer development, he has also written many technical articles that have been published globally in English, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Chinese. He has also won numerous industry awards for his technical articles and contributions to the industry. In 2004, with the help of his staff, Geishirt was published with his first book, Intro to Monochrome Printers. The book still remains one of a kind for field technicians and support personnel looking to advance their technical competencies.
