Dover, NH, October 2015 – Formax introduces the newly-redesigned FD 8806CC high-volume industrial shredder, replacing the FD 8804CC. This high-capacity conveyor-fed shredder combines fully-automated features with the rugged, industrial strength needed for high volume centralized shredding.
The FD 8806CC uses a continuous-duty motor to provide non-stop operation with the power to shred up to 90 sheets of paper at once, entire files, stacks of computer forms, cardboard, CDs and magnetic discs.
User-friendly features include Auto Start/Stop, Auto Reverse, Auto Cleaning, and an LED Control Panel with digital load indicator which gives immediate feedback to the operator, maximizing efficiency and minimizing jams. Operator safety elements include a large safety stop bar, thermal overload protection and a key lock.
With all-metal gearing, heat-treated solid steel cutting blades and a rugged molded plastic waste bin on casters, the FD 8806CC is designed for years of high-volume use, with minimal maintenance. The EvenFlow™ Automatic Oiling System is also standard equipment, which lubricates the cutting blades, helping to keep the FD 8806CC in peak operating condition.
