Pacific Office Automation (POA), the largest office equipment reseller and managed services provider in the nation, today announced the acquisition of On Demand Inc., a Houston, Texas-based office technology dealer. The transaction closed on Aug. 31. The acquisition extends POA’s footprint into the Houston market, adding a conveniently located showroom in the Galleria area and expanding the company’s presence across Texas.

On Demand Inc. has served the Houston market for more than 25 years as an authorized dealer for a range of OEMs, including Xerox, Kyocera, Ricoh, and FP Mailing Solutions. Customers can expect the same quality products, services, and support, now backed by the expanded resources and scale of Pacific Office Automation.

In April, the company announced the acquisition of Western Business Products, extending its presence along the Interstate 5 corridor between Medford, Oregon, and Sacramento, California, and later announced the acquisition of MKCnext, a Southern California-based leader in high-end wide-format printing equipment, service, and consumables.
Eakes-Kidwell IT Division
Eakes Office Solutions has acquired the Information Technology Division of Kidwell as part of a strategic business transition designed to support the long-term goals of both organizations.
As part of this transition, Kidwell IT customers will continue to receive the technology services and support they rely on every day through Eakes Office Solutions. The acquisition is intended to provide a seamless experience while maintaining the expertise, relationships and responsive service customers have come to expect.

While the Information Technology Division is transitioning to Eakes Office Solutions, Kidwell will continue serving customers through its core offerings, including electrical contracting and service, data cabling, security cameras, phone solutions and access control systems.
