Network Digital Office Systems Difference Maker Matthew Salzano Appreciates Role in Growth

Matthew Salzano

It didn’t take long into his career in the office technology dealership universe for Matthew Salzano to appreciate the impact that his company, Network Digital Office Systems, can have on the success of its clients. That idea was solidified in an early win that saw his company install a large production press for a creative agency. For that customer set, the printed output is often the product, or at least a driving force behind it. It drives the bottom line.

“Seeing how our solutions directly expanded their business reminded me of the big picture,” said Salzano, a 2025 ENX Magazine Difference Maker. “We’re not just selling equipment, we’re helping companies grow.”

The vice president of Network Digital Office Systems, Salzano started selling copiers when he was still a student at Rowan University, and he keeps gaining momentum. The son of president and founder Peter Salzano, he’s a fan of progress, whether it’s for his customers, his team or himself. Enabling people to save time or money, not to mention stress, is a major motivating factor for him.

One of the keys to accomplishing the aforementioned savings is taking a simple and flexible approach to the job. “Every customer’s situation is different, so I focus on listening and cutting through the noise to find solutions that actually work for them,” Salzano said.

The elder Salzano has long been a source of inspiration and wisdom for his son, but Matthew has gleaned perspective from peers and competitors. “The biggest lesson across the board has been persistence — the people who keep moving forward always find a way,” he noted.

The past year saw Network Digital Office Systems diversify its catalog with the addition of Premium Pure Water. While it was a bit of a risk, Salzano has been encouraged by how quickly clients have adopted the diversification. As the company continues to find outlets for net-new and expanding within existing accounts, he’s keen on developing as a leader and being able to spend more time mentoring young team members.

While he may have growth in mind, Salzano sees the value in setting a consistent pace. “Growth is exciting, but it’s the small, steady improvements that create long-term success,” he added.

On the home front, Salzano enjoys having a close-knit family and loves spending as much time with them as he can. He’s developed a passion for traveling, and he counts Italy as his favorite destinations. But Salzano also enjoys staying local and heading down to the Jersey Shore.
