Kyocera Named a Great Place To Work for the Third Year in a Row

Fairfield, NJ (Nov. 21, 2023) – Kyocera Document Solutions America, Inc. is proud to announce that it has been certified as a Great Place To Work for the third year in a row. The recognition underscores Kyocera’s commitment to being an organization that prioritizes its people and cultivates a working environment that helps them thrive and succeed.

Rooted in 30 years of research and data, Great Place To Work uses a proprietary platform and genuine employee feedback to evaluate employee satisfaction and recognizes companies that have created outstanding workplace experiences.

This year, 76% of current employees surveyed reported that Kyocera is a Great Place To Work, marking the third year in a row the company has earned this distinction. This also puts Kyocera 19% ahead of the average US company.

Kyocera employees who participated in the Great Place To Work’s Trust Index survey used words like “people,” “philosophy,” “team,” and “family” to describe what makes Kyocera a great workplace.

Furthermore, 88% of Kyocera employees surveyed said they were made to feel welcome when they joined the company; 89% said they are able to take time off from work when they think it’s necessary; 83% said they are proud to tell others they work here; and 82% said they feel they make a difference here. These employee sentiments confirm that Kyocera has established itself as a place where talented people feel valued, connected, and inspired. They also highlight how the company’s philosophy of doing the right thing as a human being is embedded in its DNA.

“Receiving the Great Place To Work certification for a third year in a row, during a period of such great uncertainty in the world, is something that really makes me proud,” says Óscar Sánchez, president and CEO of Kyocera Document Solutions America Inc. “It once again highlights the professional and personal support we provide each other here, as well as the mutual respect and commitment to doing the right thing that exist within our organization. These values are, in my opinion, what makes the Kyocera family so special.”

“At Kyocera, we feel it’s our duty to do everything we can to make our organization a Great Place To Work year after year,” says Natalie Cumberbatch, vice president of human resources. “The human element of Kyocera is vitally important. We pride ourselves as a people-driven organization and, as the results of this year’s survey show, our people feel supported, respected, and part of a team. We do not take this award for granted, however, and during the coming year we will strive to find new ways to make Kyocera an even better place to work in 2024.”

Kyocera is proud of earning the Great Place To Work certification for the third year in a row. The recognition affirms the company’s efforts to ensure it stands out in the landscape as a leading document management and printing solutions leader that prioritizes the well-being of its people.

“Our founder Dr. Inamori once said, ‘By working hard for our colleagues, trusting each other and forming close working relationships, we can build an unbeatable work group.’ This third consecutive Great Place To Work recognition shows that this is exactly what we are building here: a team that is able to unite in the face of uncertainty to reach new levels of excellence together,” says Sánchez.
