Applied Imaging Hosts Third Annual Casino Royale Fundraiser

Grand Rapids, MI (July 20, 2021) — Applied Imaging is hosting their Third Annual Charity Fundraiser, Casino Royale, a play on the popular 007 movie. The event will be hosted both outside and inside at the Applied Imaging Grand Rapids headquarters, where you will transform into a character from the movie. The beneficiary of this fundraiser is Children’s Healing Center in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Children’s Healing Center is a non-profit organization that provides a safe, fun healing environment where kids with weak immune systems and families can connect with others. The center (the only one of its kind in the world) is open to any child from birth to 26 years old who is immune-compromised and his or her family. There is a diverse population of kids with medically complex conditions including autoimmune conditions, blood disorders, congenital heart defects, cancer, kidney disease, neuromuscular disorders and transplants.

This fundraiser, on Wednesday, August 11 starting at 6:30 p.m., will be held at the Applied Imaging office at 5555 Glenwood Hills Parkway SE in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49512. The collective goal between Applied Imaging and Children’s Healing Center is to raise enough to provide at least 20 families with all-inclusive membership to the facility for one year. A membership costs $2,500 per year.

At Casino Royale, you can expect to play popular table games such as blackjack, Texas hold ‘em, craps, and roulette, sponsored by Hylant, CMPaper, Lighthouse Insurance, and Clover Imaging. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go directly to CHC. You can cash your chips in for raffle tickets for items such as concert tickets and Detroit Red Wings tickets from Applied Imaging, Visa Gift Cards from Ricoh, West Michigan Whitecaps prize packages, charcuterie gift certificates from Board Meatings and more. Much like the event in 2019, you can sip Vesper Martini’s (James Bond’s signature drink,) take pictures with exotic sports cars from Grand Rapids Auto Gallery, indulge in gourmet, catered tapas, and socialize with some of the top business leaders in West Michigan. Applied Imaging’s marketing team even has a few other tricks up their sleeve and promises it to be a completely different and elevated experience than years past.

Sponsorship opportunities will be available for catering, bar, casino tables, and prizes. If interested in a sponsorship package, please email Sheila Keller. Tickets to the event can be purchased here.

About Children’s Healing Center
The Children’s Healing Center, founded by Amanda Winn, is the nation’s first year-round recreation center where children with weak immune systems can play in a safe space. It has quickly grown to include a wide range of programs that emphasize research-based play, socialization, and learning. Their goal is for children and their families to feel the love and passion that has gone into the center each time they walk through the door. The Children’s Healing Center is more than just a place to play, connect, and relax. It’s a place where entire families can build relationships that will last a lifetime.
