Denver (Feb. 10, 2020) — PrintReleaf, a software platform that empowers businesses to sustain and grow our global forestry system, has partnered with One Tree Planted, a non-profit organization focused on reforestation, to develop a PrintReleaf Certified reforestation project in Canada.
This will be PrintReleaf’s third reforestation project in North America and their first project located in Canada. The project is specifically located in the province of British Columbia where One Tree Planted will be planting spruce trees for PrintReleaf, along with a mix of other tree species as part of the overall project.
Jordan Darragh, founder and CEO of PrintReleaf, stated, “For years we’ve had a growing number of partners and customers request that we develop a PrintReleaf Certified reforestation project in Canada. We’re excited to turn that request into reality through our partnership with One Tree Planted. Not only does this satisfy interest stemming from Canadian partners and customers, but it also provides significant capacity to our overall portfolio moving forward.”
As an environmental organization, One Tree Planted is dedicated to making it easier for individuals and businesses to give back to the environment, fight climate change, protect biodiversity, and help reforestation efforts around the world – all by planting trees.
“It’s not very often that a business partner can personally certify reforestation projects in addition to our ongoing monitoring, so we’re thrilled to have this level of engagement and support with PrintReleaf,” says Matt Hill, chief environmental evangelist at One Tree Planted.
