EPIC Business Essentials concluded its 2016 Regional meetings – the most successful regional meetings to date

Rosemont, IL, May 2, 2015 – EPIC Business Essentials held their annual regional meetings in five cities in the month of April including Houston, Atlanta, Chicago, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles. The meetings were for members of TriMega Purchasing Association and Independent Stationers – both of which are able to take part in EPIC Business Essentials. Over 200 dealers attended these meetings making it the most well attended regional meetings so far.

The two day meeting included educational seminars comprised of Selling to the Public Sector taught by National IPA/TCPN, From Post to Profit by Fortune Web Marketing, Selling to Healthcare and Beyond, Understanding and Selling to the Federal Government and Uncovering and Winning New Opportunities. Each seminar was designed to bring new ideas to participating dealers on ways to grow their business through new business acquisition and retention and growth of existing business.

“The Regional Meetings always seem to be during a busy time, however once we are there and engaged with other dealers and the EPIC Staff it becomes time very well spent! TCPN, Premier, Champs and EPIC programs are essential to our business and having open dialogue with other dealers and the training from EPIC staff is most beneficial,” said Bill Sigmon from Kennedy Office.

In addition to thought-provoking seminars, the first night was capped off with a Vendor Table Top Reception. This year’s EPIC Business Essentials Regional Meetings had record sponsorship with 39 sponsoring vendors. During a two hour reception, participating dealers and sponsoring vendors met, networked and strategized on opportunities.

“I have attended these meetings for the last 3 years and have found that it is a very good way to stay in direct contact with a number of dealers at one time. It is a smaller, slower paced meeting than the large national show so there is more time with each dealer that is in attendance. I have developed a number of opportunities at these meetings that I might not have known about,” said John Pattinson from the House of Doolittle.

EPIC Business Essentials is a joint venture between Independent Stationers National Accounts and Trimega Purchasing Associations Point Nationwide, with close to a thousand independent dealers spread across the country. EPIC Business Essentials is the tie that binds the two groups together to give independent dealers the ability to compete for multi-geographic commercial accounts and federal business that was once reserved for only the big boxes. Through a centralized ordering platform, consistent invoicing, competitive pricing and contract compliance, EPIC Business Essentials is here to provide customers the experience they deserve while keeping their business where it really should stay – local.
