Described by Lexmark as its “brightest, sharpest, most accurate printing ever,” the company recently introduced the 700 and 800 series – a new generation of A4 color lasers and smart MFPs that promise to save materials, energy, and time.

With seven new models total, the new line includes: Lexmark CS700 Series Printers, Lexmark CX700 Series MFPs, Lexmark CS800 Series Printers, and CX800 Series MFPs.

According to Lexmark, “Many of the new color laser devices deliver highest toner capacities in their class and industry-leading long life imaging components, resulting in fewer user interventions and Lexmark’s best-ever color TCO (total cost of ownership).”

The top-of-the line model, the CX860, “offers the highest toner capacity, the largest input/output capacity and the most flexible media support of any A4 color laser MFP,” according to Lexmark, who says the product is designed to rival the capabilities of A3 products.
These new models are powered by a powerful quad-core processor to deliver incredibly fast print and copy speeds. In addition, they come with Kofax TotalAgility to help increase efficiency and the recently announced Kofax Onboarding Agility — “a smart process application solution framework that dramatically reduces process complexity and shortens processing time to improve the onboarding experience for new customers.” The new line also employs a tablet-like, touch-friendly user interface that will be instantly recognizable and easy to navigate for smartphone users.

To deliver on the promise of sharp, accurate printing, these new lines employ an exclusive toner and features like the “built-in PANTONE® calibration and embedded color sample pages that help you nail perfect color at the design stage” as well as the “Lexmark Color Replacement technology that combines spot color replacement and RGB replacement for precision matching of critical colors in logos and other images.”

“This Lexmark-created, game-changing technology brings together the best of A3 and A4 technology in a new way, designed to optimize for managed print services and business process solutions,” said Marty Canning, Lexmark executive vice president and president of Imaging Solutions and Services. “With a lower total cost of ownership than ever before, Lexmark’s next generation large workgroup color lasers are the ultimate in office productivity.”
