Donations Sought for Cancer Care Cup Gala, Golf Outing

Editor’s Note: Danny Terril, a partner at OES-Solutions of Westfield, IN, is endeavoring to raise funds for the Cancer Care Cup, a gala and golf outing which benefits cancer patients and families in their time of need. His letter to the business community follows. Click here to read our July feature on OES-Solutions and Terril’s personal cancer struggle.

Dear Business Partner,
As a Pancreatic cancer survivor, my family and I know firsthand the impact a cancer diagnosis has spiritually, physically, emotionally and financially. We are motivated to help support patients and families in their time of need, believing “No One Fights Alone.” The Cancer Care Cup is a gala and golf charity outing designed to raise money to assist Oncology patients and caregivers with the everyday expenses they incur while receiving treatment at IU Health North Hospital. Last year the Cancer Care Cup was able to contribute $40,000 to this initiative that funds transportation, food, hotel stays and other expenses that would be financially difficult for families during this emotional and physical time.

OES-Solutions’ Danny Terril is surrounded by his wife, Gina (holding Caregiver sign), friends and family during the 2017 Cancer Care Cup Gala.

Our goal this year is to raise $50,000 for IU Health North Oncology patients and caregivers. IU Health North Hospital treats over 500 patients a year that have been diagnosed with some type of cancer. Please help us help those less fortunate in their time of need. The Cancer Care Cup has several corporate sponsors such as Sharp, Konica Minolta, OES-Solutions, Indiana Members Credit Union and MacAllister Caterpillar.

Would you consider being a corporate sponsor or donating an item or gift certificate for our silent auction this year to help us reach our goal? The Cancer Care Cup gala and golf charity outing will be held at the Bridgewater Club which boasts a private championship Pete Dye golf course. The “Tee Off Dinner” will begin at 6 p.m. Sunday, August 19 and registration will begin at 10:30 a.m./shotgun start at noon on Monday, August 20 for our golf scramble.

The Cancer Care Cup has a Fiscal 501(c)(10) sponsor, Keystone Lodge #251, so all contributions to the event are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by the Internal Revenue Service.

Sponsorships can be purchased on our website via credit card or if you would like to pay by check, please make check payable to Keystone Lodge #251, our fiscal sponsor.
