Kyocera announced Mr. Bialecki’s passing in a short note to media outlets on Wednesday. “It is with an extremely heavy heart that Kyocera informs you that Ed Bialecki, former senior vice president of sales, has passed away. Ed worked at Kyocera for over 26 years and was a professional who led by example, understanding the importance of building trusting relationships with dealers, vendors and colleagues. Mr. Bialecki loved golfing as well as playing baseball and football. His love for thoroughbred horse racing was well known; he had a long affiliation with Zilla Racing Stables.

Michael Stramaglio, president of MWA, under All Covered’s Business Consulting Services, feels the industry has lost “a dear friend and champion” with Mr. Bialecki’s passing.

“I had come to know Ed through the years as his career progressed to senior vice president of sales at Kyocera Mita, during which time I had plenty of opportunities to visit with him at many industry events,” Stramaglio said. “As is often the occasion, our industry provides us with unique experiences to grow special friendships, even when we were on the playing field as competitors. Ed was always a consummate professional, a great leader and a gentleman who understood the things important in life.

“I offer my condolences to his wife Melinda and their daughters Colleen and Bridget. Ed will be missed by many, and no doubt, we have lost one of our best!”
