Plustek, Inc., a manufacturer of consumer, prosumer and professional imaging and security devices, plans to unveil this new document capture integration at Square 9’s Encompass 2018 End User and Reseller Conference, being held October 3-5 in Nashville, TN.
Utilizing the Square 9 API, Plustek developed a streamlined solution for both cloud and on-premise capture. With a highly intuitive new interface on eScan enabled touchscreen scanners, users can easily scan documents to GlobalSearch, to email, or to USB. When scanning to GlobalSearch, the device automatically connects to their GlobalSearch document management platform, with direct scanning to the cloud or on-premise installation. This new approach to capture integration enables the entry of metadata at the device touch panel, allowing users to strategically place and name their files.
As a sponsor of the Encompass Conference, Plustek will be demonstrating how simple it is to scan a document into the cloud and a GlobalSearch archive from their new eScan enabled device. This universal approach to image scanning will help meet the demand of customers to capture and transform documents directly into their information management database.
