Waukee, IA (Sept. 24, 2018) — Access Systems was named second in the mid-sized company category for Top Workplaces in Iowa for 2018 by the Des Moines Register. This year marks the fourth year in a row Access Systems has been named an Iowa Top Workplace, but it is their first time in the mid-sized category. In addition, Access System’s president and CEO, Shane Sloan, was awarded as Top Leader for the mid-sized group.

Each year, the Des Moines Register names the top 150 workplaces in Iowa across small, medium, and large businesses. The Register partnered with Energage research company to conduct anonymous employee surveys to determine which companies would make the list for 2018.

Employees answered a range of questions about their job satisfaction and the company culture. Access employees praised the company’s commitment to family and making sure their employees feel valued.
