Canon U.S.A. to Display Teller Capture Technology Lineup at Upcoming Events

Melville, NY (September 12, 2016) – Showcasing the latest in its image capture technology, Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, will be on hand at the Fiserv Forum Fall Client Conference (September 12-15), held at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona, and the Remote Deposit Capture (R.D.C.) Summit (September 14-16), located at Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate in Orlando, Florida. At these shows, Canon will be displaying check scanners that are designed to help meet the needs of the financial and banking industries, including an exclusive preview of the imageFORMULA CR-150 which is ideal for teller-counter capture and remote deposit capture applications.
Building off the success of the imageFORMULA CR-series check transport family, the Canon imageFORMULA CR-150 provides users with a reliable feeding system, advanced optics technology, accurate Magnetic Ink Character Recognition (MICR) reading and a user-friendly design to help meet customers’ expectations. Currently slated for release in the first quarter of 2017, the imageFORMULA CR-150 is designed for multi-function compatibility, combining the functions of many peripherals found at the teller station into one single device, reducing counter space requirements and helping to improve efficiency. It is also modular and scalable, with functionality that can be added as required.
The new addition to the Canon portfolio joins the existing CR-190i II device, the cornerstone of the imageFORMULA CR-series check transport family, targeted primarily for branch and back-counter capture applications. The CR-190i II succeeded the long-standing and highly popular CR-180 and CR-180II check transports. Users looking to upgrade to new check transports from the older CR-180 and CR-180II models, which are no longer serviced or supported, have the opportunity to explore attractive upgrade offers to help facilitate the replacement decision, and should contact their point of purchase or Canon U.S.A., Inc. for more information.
Also on display at Fiserv Forum Fall Client Conference will be Canon’s imageFORMULA DR-C225W Office Document Scanner as well as the imageFORMULA P-215II “Scan-tini” Mobile Document Scanner. With the imageFORMULA DR-C225W, users are provided with features to help increase ease of use, including the ability to scan from a compatible tablet or smartphone device with CaptureOnTouch or CaptureOnTouch Mobile1. The imageFORMULA P-215II offers a slim and streamlined design to better allow mobile scanning for users on-the-go.
