Actionable Intelligence and Lightwords to Preview Forecast Data at Imagining Supplies Coalition Event

Franklin, Massachusetts (USA) and Rode Heath Cheshire (UK), August 18, 2016—At next month’s Imaging Supplies Coalition (ISC) conference, Actionable Intelligence and Lightwords Imaging will host a half-day seminar featuring findings from their recent study of worldwide document imaging hardware and supplies markets. Based on manufacturers’ disclosures and other real-world inputs, the companies have modeled global markets for electrophotographic equipment and consumables and forecast how they will develop through 2020. The preliminary findings will be presented during a seminar at the conclusion of the 2016 ISC Conference, which will be held in San Diego from September 18 to 20. (Click here to register.)

“I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to present the initial results from our research at the ISC event next month,” says Charles Brewer, president of Actionable Intelligence. “I’ve participated in this event often over the past 15 years. It is attended by many of the digital imaging industry’s smartest and most informed executives.” According to Mr. Brewer, the Actionable Intelligence and Lightwords study provides a fresh look at global office imaging markets and offers a model that is grounded in numbers provided by the leading manufacturers in the industry. “The ISC conference is the perfect venue for our inaugural seminar and attendees will get a clear picture of what’s actually happening at many of the industry’s leading manufacturers.”

“Working with financial data and other disclosures from the industry’s leading manufacturers, we’ve gained valuable insights into the true performance of their respective businesses and discovered key trends in the markets for hardware and supplies,” says Peter Mayhew, director of Lightwords Imaging. He adds that the joint Actionable Intelligence/Lightwords Imaging research team has compiled compelling market analysis that is both quantitative and qualitative. “The goal of our seminar at the ISC conference is to make this research accessible to a wider audience and help industry executives respond to the critical challenges they currently face.”

The seminar sessions include:
• Trends Shaping Today’s Electrophotographic Hardware Markets (David Rocheleau, Senior Research Analyst, Lightwords Imaging)
• Trends Shaping Today’s Inkjet Hardware Markets (Christina Bonadio, Executive Editor, Actionable Intelligence)
• Consumables Markets and the Changing Competitive Landscape for Supplies Vendors (Charles Brewer, President, Actionable Intelligence)

The seminar provides a review of Actionable Intelligence and Lightwords Imaging’s jointly developed models and forecasts of regional markets for monochrome and color electrophotographic equipment and supplies. We also examine the trends shaping the markets for consumer and business inkjet hardware and supplies in various regions. In addition, the seminar provides analysis of the current competitive landscape for firms marketing OEM consumables and third-party supplies. An Q&A session with the presenters ends the event followed by an informal reception. The seminar fee is $79.
