What Did You Sell This Week?

Erik Crane

This week Erik Crane, president of Copy Products, Inc. in Springfield, MO shares his dealerships most notable sale of the week.

What was your most notable sale this week?

Crane: Earlier this week we wrapped up the sale and installation of 15 Toshiba monochrome and color MFP’s.They ranged in speed from 35 ppm to 65 ppm. We have partnered with them for a long time and they loved their older Toshiba units. They found the new Toshiba’s to be equally impressive.

Who bought it?

Crane: This partner was a small city government account.

Why did the customer choose it?

Crane: We have had a relationship with this business partner for many years. They have always liked our excellent and timely service along with the reliability and stability of the products we sell. We also offer true in-house leasing options to government agencies, poly-subs, and non-profit organizations which allows us maximum flexibility to make them comfortable in this up and down economy. Not many companies can pull all that off. We are also working closely with them on their MPS and MIT needs. They felt we had the infrastructure and personnel coupled with extensive knowledge of their account to offer the best total optimized print management solution.

How long did this sale take to close and the sale?

Crane: This actually went pretty quickly for the bid process. From the time the bid arrived to final paperwork and installation was right at 90 days.
