SOCSoter Launches an Integrated Threat Intelligence Server to Equip Channel Partners to Work Smarter, Not Harder

Hagerstown, MD (March 13, 2018) — SOCSoter released a free new service to their partners. They are now able to access and query SOCSoter’s threat intelligence database. This allows their partners to understand, research, and stop threats more effectively and efficiently.

SOCSoter’s Threat Intelligence Platform (TIP) server is another resource for SOCSoter’s partners to enhance their cybersecurity operations through streamlined threat operations and management.

Using a threat intelligence server provides situational awareness of threat actors and their tactics, techniques and procedures, and enables SOCSoter’s Security Operation Center (SOC) to be more strategically and tactically focused.

“We are incredibly excited about this new and powerful tool we rolled out. There isn’t a database this large and complete that Managed Service Providers can use to conduct their own research and/or search for potentially malicious activities at this price-free!” Explains Melissa Kaiser, Director of Business Development for SOCSoter.

Benefits of SOCSoter’s proprietary TIP Server:

  • Centralized threat intelligence data is available to partners 24/7.
  • Allows their partners to quickly understand threats, make better decisions, and accelerate detection and response.
  • The TIP server is constantly updating. The TIP server receives threat feeds from many other threat intelligence databases and updated frequently as new threats evolve.
  • The TIP server works as a search engine to cross-reference content based on the URL, IP, Hash, and email addresses to see if it could be potentially malicious.
