EPIC Business Essentials Announces New Contracts and Record Revenues

Indianapolis and Rosemont, IL (Oct. 25, 2017) — Independent Stationers and TriMega Purchasing Association’s national account joint venture—EPIC Business Essentials—announces new contracts and YTD 2017 revenue results.

Q3 2017 exceeded Q2 2017 results which outperformed Q1 2017, which was record-setting. Managing Director of EPIC Business Essentials, Grady Taylor stated, “We continue to be very pleased with the overall sales and operating income performance for EPIC Business Essentials. In fact, the trends have resulted in double-digit growth going as far back as Q3 2016. 2017 sales through Q3 are up 27.1% over last year with September being an all-time record month. We attribute this to experiencing more interest and inquiries from both enterprise end-users and our servicing dealers.”

EPIC Business Essentials also announces a new contract with a “Fortune 600” organization with over forty locations in forty states. National Vertical Accounts Sales Manager, Scott Zintz stated, “We continue to place more focus on the commercial side of the business, and it is paying off. We are also pleased that one of the nation’s largest consulting firms working for this client on this RFP, chose EPIC Business Essentials over our power channel competition. We believe this is the beginning of a growing strategic relationship that will pay off in the near future for our participating dealers.” The new client is excited to partner with EPIC based on the competitive pricing program provided, but also to support the local economies where their installations are located and create relationships with EPIC participating dealers.

Finally, EPIC Business Essentials has been re-awarded a three-year contract with a U.S. healthcare GPO. The agreement with CHAMPS Healthcare solidifies a relationship formed in 2011 and runs through September 2020. The contract enables EPIC dealers access to the 10,000+ members of CHAMPS, which focuses primarily on healthcare and commercial business members nationwide. “The new three-year agreement allows EPIC dealers to retain existing business as well as have an opportunity to grow in the important acute and non-acute healthcare market segments. This contract goes beyond office supplies and into related categories such as office furniture, janitorial supplies, print/promotion and more,” commented Zintz.
