Des Plaines Office Equipment CEO Chip Miceli Organizes, Attends SDG Meeting in Napa Valley

Elk Grove Village, IL, Nov. 16, 2014 – Chip Miceli, CEO of Des Plaines Office Equipment (www.dpoe.com), the Chicago area’s leading provider of managed print services, managed network services, and related technology, recently returned from Napa Valley in California where he attended a meeting of the Select Dealer Group (SDG), a national trade organization whose membership draws from leading office product/service dealers across the country with a goal of benchmarking their industry and best practices.

The two-day meeting, held at The Meritage Resort Napa, included owners and technical managers from the various 36 Dealerships represented.  Miceli is President of the Select Dealer Group and a founding member, and organized the meeting for dealers from across the country to attend and share their information.Members from throughout the US and a member from Australia participated in panel groups, dealer roundtable discussions and performance reviews to set productivity benchmarks.

The Select Dealer Group is comprised of the most tenured and successful independent dealers in this country and Australia, representing all the major copier, printer and related software vendors.

Miceli, President of the SDG for the past two years, said that one of the key advantages of the organization is that the office equipment dealers can talk with others in their industry and gain, as well as provide, insight in a non-competitive atmosphere.
