This week Rick Bastinelli, president of Centric Business Systems with offices throughout Maryland shares his dealership’s most notable sale of the week.

What was this week’s most notable sale?

Bastinelli: Two Ricoh color production printers, the Ricoh Pro C901 and Ricoh Pro C751.

Who bought it?

Bastinelli: A production print copy center.

Why did they pick these products?

Bastinelli: They were an existing Centric customer using Ricoh equipment and were pleased with the success of the products, which allowed us to dramatically expand our relationship with them. They transitioned a lot of their work that was previously being done on a press and moved it over specifically to the Pro C901.

How long did this sale take to close?

Bastinelli: It was approximately a 90-day sales cycle. It’s really been a very significant part of our business because the overall images we’re losing in the office environment we’ve been able to offset by focusing on the production environment.
