Minding Your Own Business

Scott Cullen, Publisher & Editor of The Week in Imaging

If all went according to plan, I returned from Paris yesterday afternoon and am catching up with phone calls and e-mails and whatever else has accumulated in my absence. However, because I like to get things done in advance and not have anything hanging over my head, I prepared this issue before I left for Europe. Believe it or not, I started writing this column on Nov. 16. Crazy, huh? That’s how I like to work.

I don’t know about you, but I enjoy reading these highlights. It’s amazing to see what these companies, whether they’re focused on solutions, hardware, or services, or any combination, have accomplished in the past year. Some of those highlights are you what you might expect, others somewhat surprising. Altogether it gives me faith in this industry that I stumbled upon completely by accident in 1986 and continue to write about to this day.

While you’re at it, feel free to share this newsletter with others in your dealership or company. Knowledge is all it’s cracked up to be and an awareness of what’s going down in the industry is one of the best ways to mind your business.

New content this week includes:

  • More 2012 Industry Highlights from Across the Office Technology and Imaging Industry
  • Elite Dealer Profiles of Edwards Business Systems & Virginia Business Systems
  • Art Post’s Latest Post
  • What’s Hot & What’s Not?
  • December News Bytes

Thanks for reading and please support our sponsors.
