Pulse Technology’s Chip Miceli, SDG Grapple with Key Issues at California Meeting

Schaumburg, IL (April 22, 2022) — Chip Miceli, CEO of Pulse Technology, recently spent several days at a national conference hosted by the Select Dealer Group at Pebble Beach, CA, attended by owners and executives in the document management industry from across the United States.

Miceli is one of the founders and is the past president of the Select Dealer Group, which includes members from across the United States and several countries, who meet three times a year to share industry best practices among industry peers.

The group of nearly 50 individuals met and discussed topics pertaining to their industry including electronic content management and document retention systems, company culture, compensation plans for attracting and retaining talent, strategies for maintaining profitability in the face of rising costs, and billing practices.

“There is great value to meeting with fellow dealers from across the country to share industry observations and practices,” he said. “With the changes in our industry and the restrictions that COVID-19 and other factors have put upon business in general, it’s great to have the resources of fellow dealers so that we can help each other overcome the challenges that businesses face. Many of us confront issues of recruiting and retaining talent, for example, not to mention supply chain and pricing considerations. I’ve always found Select Dealer Group to be a very worthwhile investment of time.”
