Bay Copy, Quincy Chamber of Commerce Form Strategic Alliance to Provide Members with Significant Discounts on Equipment and Technology Services

Quincy and Rockland, MA (Jan. 28, 2022) — Bay Copy, a leading provider of digital document solutions now in its 50th year of operation, today announced a partnership with the Quincy Chamber of Commerce where Quincy Chamber members will be eligible for significant discounts on document generation equipment and the supporting technology, service and supplies.

Peter Racicot, director of health care and strategic accounts at Bay Copy and a founding member of the Quincy Chamber, has worked with Chamber President and Executive Director Tim Cahill to develop the program. Bay Copy will work with the Chamber to provide their members in good standing a significant benefit in terms of the products and services that Bay Copy provides—including multi-function printers (copiers), and technology to support it. This arrangement will save Chamber members as much as 35% of the manufacturers’ suggested retail price (MSRP) on the lease or purchase of copiers and multi-function printers.

Ray Belanger, CEO of Bay Copy, said, “Our company provides significant cost saving opportunities to companies and organizations on their document generation through Managed Print Services programs. We analyze equipment usage and a company’s document generation needs and our efforts can often result in 15% -25% reductions on document generation costs. When you consider that the average business spends anywhere from 2% to 5% of their bottom line on the cost of producing documents, this can result in significant cost savings for the business or organization.”

Tim Cahill, president and executive director of the Quincy Chamber of Commerce, said, “We’re very excited about this partnership with Bay Copy. There’s a great additional connection between our organizations, with Peter Racicot as a former chamber chair of the Board of Directors. When Peter spoke to me about this proposal, the concept really appealed to our entire board. Every time we can provide another value-add for our members we’re pleased to, and this is a great opportunity for our membership.”

Racicot added, “One of the greatest strengths of the Quincy Chamber is how it continually advocates for its membership by providing cost-saving opportunities. It’s one of many ways in which they differentiate themselves. Tim and his team are tireless advocates for the Chamber and its members. I’ve always seen the Quincy Chamber as a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization.” And through our arrangement with the Quincy Chamber, members can save 35% of the MSRP on equipment and additional favorable pricing on technology support.”
