1,000 Specialty Certifications Issued by Continuum University

Individual Certifications Offered by Continuum University in Administration, RMM, Help Desk Activation and Backup Solutions Increasingly Popular by MSPs

BOSTON – April 14, 2016 – Continuum University, the self-paced, interactive online learning center at Continuum®, the only channel-exclusive IT management platform company, has issued 1,000 specialty certifications in various disciplines, including Administration, Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM), Help Desk and Backup Solutions. Continuum expanded the certification program to include the four specialty areas in November 2015, and all four are now required to become a Continuum Certified IT Expert. In May of last year, Continuum U announced 1,000 Continuum Certified IT Experts in the legacy program, all having completed the required courses and passing the certification exam.

“Providing our partners with the option to focus on the training that has the most impact on their day-to-day interactions was an important step in making them successful,” said Jen Roadman, Partner Education Manager at Continuum. “We recognize their accomplishments in mastering different areas of Continuum’s IT platform by providing the opportunity to earn the specialist certifications, and clearly we are getting partners to take advantage of the opportunity to gain in depth knowledge of Continuum’s products.”

In order to become certified in a specific area, technicians are required to 1) watch the video modules, 2) complete the guided reviews and 3) pass the Continuum specialist exam with a minimum score of 80 percent. Continuum U courses are kept up-to-date to reflect the latest Continuum product updates and the bite-size videos easily fit into MSPs’ busy schedules. The self-paced learning environment includes more than 100 modules of instructional video. MSP partners are able to track their company’s progress as well as the progress of individual technicians.

Continuum’s no-cost IT certification program includes training courses in Continuum’s Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platform that offers proactive problem resolution backed by the company’s industry-leading Network Operations Center (NOC) and Help Desk, as well as Continuity247™, the company’s fully managed backup and disaster recovery (BDR) platform. The Help Desk course includes signing sites up with the white-labeled Help Desk, completing the activation process and more. It is recommended that technicians update their certifications annually to make sure they are up-to-date on new features and functionality.
