All Copy Products, Pacific Office Automation Acquire Konica Minolta Direct Branches

Brad Knepper, All Copy Products

Last week, Konica Minolta revealed it was divesting a number of its direct branches to its dealer partners. And this week, Denver-based All Copy Products and Pacific Office Automation of Beaverton, Oregon, acknowledged they had completed deals with the manufacturer for multiple branches.

All Copy Products (ACP) is adding branches strategically located in areas where it currently operates and can support these customers with their current equipment as well as offer them an expansive list of technology solutions.

With the acquisition of these Konica Minolta branches, ACP is able to expand into new markets and fortify its existing presence in Boulder, Fort Collins, Pueblo, Colorado Springs, Grand Junction, Cheyenne, Laramie, Flagstaff, Omaha, Lincoln, and Kearney.

“We are very grateful to Konica Minolta for their continued partnership and trusting us with the care of their customers. We look forward to providing these clients with an expanded inventory of the office equipment and technical solutions their business requires to succeed alongside ACP’s signature award-winning service,” said Brad Knepper, president and CEO of All Copy Products.

“Our confidence in our dealer partners allows us to make these forward moves. We recognize that it is critical to continue our investment in our channel partners, to ensure our mutual success and growth to meet the changing market demands,” noted Sam Errigo, COO of Konica Minolta Business Solutions USA Inc.

Due to this acquisition, and in conjunction with the continuous annual growth of its organization, ACP will surpass the $125 million annual revenue mark this year. This further solidifies ACP’s position in the Greater Rocky Mountain Region as the largest independently owned and operated office technology provider headquartered in the region. In addition to the acquisition of clients, ACP is also bringing on more than 70 employees from Konica Minolta to help ensure a smooth transition and success for its new clients.

Meanwhile, Pacific Office Automation (POA) acquired three Konica Minolta branch offices located in Reno, Nevada; Salt Lake City and Albuquerque, New Mexico.

POA is Konica Minolta’s largest independent dealer in North America with a partnership that dates back 22-plus years. This strategic acquisition will allow POA to better equip its current and new customers in delivering impactful services and solutions and furthers its commitment and respect to the strength of the independent dealer community.

With the Reno branch office acquisition, POA enters a brand new market territory, making Nevada the ninth state in which POA provides direct service and support. While POA focuses on local support, it continues to have national and international capabilities to service customers of all sizes. With the support of Konica Minolta, this acquisition allows POA to continue its year-over-year growth, dating back to 1976.

The Konica Minolta shops in Albuquerque and Salt Lake City will remain independent but with the backing of POA’s infrastructure, it will provide customers the top-notch experience they’ve come to expect.
