This week John Stensland, president of Martin Group in Lake Geneva, WI shares what’s hot and what’s not in his market.

What’s hot?

Stensland: I see the A4 market changing for us not only from the perspective of increased sales, but we are doing much better with something other than HP products. There seems to be an increasing acceptance of the Muratec, and especially the Konica Minolta products we sell. In years past clients would look to us for an HP recommendation and they would usually shy away from another manufacturer. Now they are becoming more comfortable with the Konica Minolta products and our sales team is finding very little resistance to replacing the HP devices.

What’s not?

Stensland: Wide format hasn’t been very good for us and after a short foray we got out of the market.
