What Did You Sell This Week?

Fraser's Global Support Center

This week, Christy Coy, General Sales Admin, with Fraser Advanced Information Systems in West Reading, PA, shares her company’s most notable sale of the past week.

What was your most notable sale this week?

Coy: Our professional solutions specialist and digital sales rep sold as a team a three-year managed service contract that includes remote and onsite network infrastructure support, as well as network monitoring, alerts, anti-virus and spam filtering. They also purchased a new enterprise server, with new Microsoft licensing, and a build of a SharePoint site for document management, storage to replace current system, and a Kodak scanner with Capture Pro software to index scanned images into SharePoint. The total amount for this sale was $58,000 and growing with support from our IT and software solutions consultant and digital sales consultant.

Who bought it?

Coy: A law firm with 8 attorneys and 18 users. The client was using an older version of a Microsoft server and hardware that all needed upgrading. They also were using a document management system called Open Docs that was no longer able to sufficiently serve their needs.

Why did the customer choose it?

Coy: The customer chose Fraser because we were able to serve all their technology needs within our company. For example, the SharePoint Internal Portal will serve as a document management system to store and retrieve documents onsite and remotely. Also, it will be configured for security and compliancy protecting their client’s vital personal information. SharePoint will also serve as a communication portal for their employees, giving them access to HR forms and company information. The clients were able to find better solutions through our cloud technology and 24/7 monitoring of their devices. They also came to visit our facilities in West Reading and were able to experience the Global Support Center featuring the two-tiered Help Desk. This gave the customer a better understanding of the constant support they were receiving.

How long did this sale take to close and the sale?

Coy: The managed service team sale was initiated by a digital sales consultant around seven months ago; after the client visited our Global Support Center until the sale closed, with help from our IT and software solutions consultant, it was three weeks.
