Between the Lines: What’s Happening this Week

If only I could put my feet up now that I’m done with The Elite Dealers. Unfortunately, I’ve got no time for that. What I was able to find time for was a telephone interview last Friday with Gary Stevens, President and CEO of Agiliant, a new managed print and managed network services firm that is recruiting dealers for their Agiliant Affiliate Network. It’s an interesting concept and takes away a lot of the pain associated with making a go of it under those two new business models. The difference with Agiliant is that those two models are combined under one roof and they are right there in the trenches helping their affiliates be successful. Read all about it this week.

On Tuesday I interviewed James Davis, former president of Digital Gateway, and now the driving force behind a new company, Tech Anywhere. Look for that story in next week’s The Week in Imaging.  

And finally, on Thursday afternoon I learned about something new from Xerox, currently under NDA, that will be officially announced on Monday, November 7. You can read about that next week too.
