Independent Suppliers Group Distributes Rebates; Hosts Virtual Town Hall

Rosemont, IL (June 18, 2020) — Independent Suppliers Group (ISG) the largest global member-owned Business Products cooperative is distributing nearly $8 million of Q1 2020 rebates to its membership, which is an increase of 10% over last year.

ISG continues to take significant steps to assist its valued members during these challenging and unprecedented times with new selling and marketing opportunities. Last month it introduced its Back to Work Sales Playbook, featuring supplier marketing materials, new product introductions, dealer success stories and industry trend information, all to assist their members’ customers return to the work environment. ISG will be announcing the addition of new suppliers in the Jan-San area, specifically in Personal Protection Equipment categories and will also soon be announcing its “Back to Business” campaign in collaboration with key suppliers.

ISG is hosting its first virtual town hall “Selling in the New Work Environment,” featuring an ISG member panel that will share their experiences in the “new normal” workplace. With the workplace changing constantly, the focus is on ensuring a safe return to work and adjustments for some continuing to work from home. The Townhall will be facilitated by Janet Collins, Partner of TurningPoint Strategy, where she will interact with the panel on how they have been resourceful, creative and successful in this new world. There is a Supplier Town Hall discussion planned for later this summer, with details coming soon.

ISG continues to grow by adding 18 new members to date this year.

David Guernsey, chairman of the Independent Suppliers Group, said, “During these unprecedented times, I am so proud of how our members have responded, how our suppliers have supported our group and ISG’s innovative and creative programs to ensure the health of our members and the IDC.”
