Epson SureColor F6370 Dye-Sublimation Printer Wins 2019 SGIA Product of the Year Award

Long Beach, CA (Sept. 26, 2019) — Epson today announced its SureColor F6370 dye-sublimation printer has won the SGIA 2019 Product of the Year Award in the “Roll-to-Roll Dye-Sublimation on Metal” category, marking Epson’s fourth consecutive year receiving the prestigious award in this category from the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association’s (SGIA) annual competition. Epson’s complete line of dye-sublimation solutions, including the winning SureColor F6370 printer, will be shown at PRINTING United, Oct. 23-25 in Dallas, in Epson booth #5610.

“Year after year, Epson continues to innovate and expand its award-winning SureColor F-Series product line,” said Tim Check, senior product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, Inc. “The SureColor F6370 is equipped with intuitive features that improve efficiency and productivity as well as streamline workflow applications for customers. We are proud to be recognized by our industry peers for our commitment to delivering the highest quality solutions.”

The winning entry was created with the new SureColor F6370 dye-sublimation printer that features fast print speeds for quickly and efficiently producing high-quality output. Coupled with the Epson DS Transfer Photo Paper, Epson UltraChrome DS inks and Epson Color Management Settings, the full solution is designed to produce rigid photos with advanced print quality and vibrant images with minimal grain, consistency and reliability.

“This is the only competition I know of that reports on the percentage of Adobe RGB a printer can hit,” said Ray Weiss, director of digital print programs, SGIA. “We’ll display the reports alongside the entries in the Awards Gallery at PRINTING United in October.”

The winning products rose to the top of the 2019 Product of the Year competition from more than 200 entries in 72 categories spanning analog, digital, output and non-output technologies. Output devices were judged based on reports generated by the Sonoco Institute at Clemson University. All entries will be displayed in the Awards Gallery at the 2019 PRINTING United show in Dallas, Tex. from Oct. 23-25.
