LONG BEACH, Calif. – Aug. 2, 2016Epson America, Inc., a leading provider of superior performing printing solutions, today announced the newest additions to its Supertank category of EcoTank® printers – the WorkForce® ET-16500 wide-format model and Expression® ET-3600. Revolutionary in design, the printers deliver cartridge-free printing with easy-to-fill supersized ink tanks and up to two years of ink in the box1. The ET-16500 and ET-3600 not only expand the Epson portfolio of Supertank printers, but serve as proof points for the success of this category in the North American printer market, underscoring Epson’s commitment to delivering printing solutions that meet a range of customer needs.

“The Supertank category was designed to enhance the customer printing experience. EcoTank printers provide customers with convenience and value, offering the freedom to print in color without worrying about cost or running out of ink,” said Nils Madden, marketing director, Desktop Imaging and Printing, Epson. “Since introducing cartridge-free printing in North America last year, feedback has been incredibly positive and sales have exceeded our expectations. The new ET-16500 and ET-3600 deliver enhanced performance and features to reach a wider range of users. Expanding the EcoTank portfolio underscores our commitment to transforming the way people think about color printing in business and in the home.”

Featuring all-in-one capabilities and an unbeatable combination of convenience and value, the ET-16500 and ET-3600 bring low-cost, hassle-free color printing to businesses and the home. Plus, they come equipped with built-in, easy-to-use wireless and Wi-Fi Direct5 capabilities so users can print directly from tablets and smartphones6 across a range of operating systems, as well as through Epson Connect™ solutions.
