BTA Accepting Completed Questionnaire for 2016 BTA Channel Champion Awards

New program will recognize distinguished BTA member dealerships

Kansas City, MO — During the BTA at 90: A Celebration event (www.bta.org/BTA90) to be held June 10 in Kansas City, Missouri, the Business Technology Association (BTA; www.bta.org) will present the newly established BTA Channel Champion Awards (www.bta.org/ChannelChampion) to five BTA member dealerships that have distinguished themselves within the office technology industry in four key performance categories. BTA member dealers must submit a completed questionnaire to be considered for the award.

The performance categories: finance (including average sales per employee, gross margin, inventory turnover and average collection period), operations (including effectiveness in reducing employee turnover, customer-focused programs, business plan goals and objectives, and 2015 business growth pattern), vision (including marketing strategies related to selling future technologies and adherence to a formal vision statement) and involvement (including industry recognition and community involvement).

A BTA Channel Champion award will be presented in each of five annual revenue categories: less than $3 million, $3 million to $5,999,999 million, $6 million to $10,999,999 million, $11 million to $20 million and more than $20 million.

The BTA Channel Champion questionnaire is now available to BTA member dealers. Visit www.bta.org/ChannelChampion to complete the questionnaire online. Questionnaires must be completed by Friday, May 6, 2016.

All returned questionnaires will be evaluated by an objective third party who will select the winners (must be members of BTA).
