Los Angeles, CA – UniNet R&D has qualified the New X Generation® Multipurpose Color Toner Formula and components for use in Lexmark C/X 746, 748 color printer series. This Multipurpose Toner formula has been qualified in over 15 Lexmark C / X printer series.
As most remanufacturers are aware, toners released for newer machines will often work backwards into older models, and having a toner to use across multiple engine models makes life easier for remanufacturers, reducing inventories and helping to keep costs down.
This Multipurpose toner formula is Polyester-based and features optimum color matching, and glossy finish just as the OEM.
The Lexmark C746/748 color laser series are 35-ppm printers with 1200 dpi resolution for outstanding color printing. Toner cartridges are rated at 12,000 pages for the black and 10,000 pages for the colors.
Lexmark also presents the C748 MFP, based on the same print engine, which includes printing, copying, scanning and faxing capabilities. Lexmark uses the same toner cartridges with different chips to differentiate the printer from the MFP versions.
