The events also offered attendees a chance to learn what Canon Solutions America, the leader in inkjet technology with 44 percent market share (W.E. and U.S.)1, is doing to keep its customers ahead of the curve.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cutsheet Goes High Speed<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Inkjet Insider Summit,(held September 19-21) offered attendees a preview and live demonstration of the highly anticipated Niagara cut-sheet technology predicted to revolutionize the high-speed inkjet space. Canon executives and technical engineers addressed the importance of the impact that advancements like the new Niagara technology means to the print industry, and demonstrated how this new cut-sheet inkjet press will meet our customer\u2019s changing application and workflow needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was great being a part of this event where Canon was able to showcase the advancements they are making in inkjet technology,\u201d said Mark DeBoer, Director of Customer Experience with Darwill, Inc.\u00a0 \u201cIt was clear to see the tremendous efforts being taken to advance this emerging technology as quickly as possible and get this new machine to market.\u00a0 The machine is a perfect introduction for someone who is interested in entering the inkjet market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>New Opportunities in Continuous Feed Inkjet<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Attendees of the second portion of the Inkjet Insider Summit, (held September 22-24) were equally impressed by Canon\u2019s new technology for continuous feed inkjet, the Oc\u00e9 ImageStream 3500. During the summit, participants got to see the new digital printing system in action and heard from experts on how innovation continues to change the face of the graphic arts industry.
